If you have somewhere quiet to work to start with, that is really important. All you need is a comfortable chair, a table and a piece of mdf or a hard canvas board to tape your paper or card onto. Obviously, you need some pastel pencils, but it would be ideal to start with a smaller study like the Wolf Paws in Taming Wildlife first, where you only need to buy 9 single Faber-Castell Pitt Pastel Pencils. They are all colours you will use again in the book.
There is a definitive list of all the pencils used in the book provided for you on the page Pencils List for Book.
